I’m sorry but deal with what? My college years were one of happiest times of my life. I was a double major, worked an overnight job, hung out, particpated in college theatre, and was on the Dean’s List.

I really don’t know how to respond to your post. I think that you see her behavior as a cry for help. But I see as a call to party. She did move to Williamsburg. If she wants to take a Gap Year, fine. But let her support herself.

With a tuition of $1, 782.00 a credit? How long would you give her time to de-stress? This young lady chose to “de-stress” in one of the hippest areas of NYC. Come on. I may not be a Mom but I remember how I was at 19 and all I wanted to do was go clubbing, hang with my friends, and enjoy myself.

Thanks for this. I’ve found JF on Instagram and immediately became a folllower. I am so glad to be old enough to remember NYC late 70's early 80's. It was gritty, smelly, messy, and so much fun.
