The buzzing system is... a lesser of evils scenario. Most people on the show know most of the clues, which is a pretty fair assumption. But there’s still categories that people have as weaknesses. Mine was Opera, so imagine my delight when THAT showed up in Double Jeopardy! for me.

See, I think its the exact opposite! I like my band tight, because as you say, that’s where the majority of support comes, and any band I could stretch behind me far enough to clasp behind my back properly would for sure be too loose.

OK, but like my bras have several hooks - at least two rows and two columns (so 4-6 hooks usually, of which I need to use 2-3). If you are trying to clasp it behind your back, how do you make sure you are hooking the right hook onto the right loop? This seems unnecessarily complex.

And then there’s those of us who got fuck all from our parents, and were lucky to make a career after paying for night classes at a business college. My parents didn’t even walk me though getting loans for school, much less how to apply for college. I had to figure it all out myself in my late 20s after I got tired of

Warning: It was extremely gross and alarmingly red.

And the issues were quickly cleared up and apologized for and fixed once attention was drawn to them. Didn’t get defensive and was pretty inclusive once people told him

The guy who runs the account is literally like  20 and never anticipated his fame. The “scandals” have been pretty minor and he's learning. It's hardly a milkshake duck.

The same way folks still live in the US—-which enslaved, tortured, and raped Africans as a central part of its economy. Institutions are f’d up because people are f’d up. Trying to do better is the key. The current Pope is trying at least. The Catholic Church is corrupt to its core, but institutions that are not

I’m a bit late to this thread; but yesterday was amazing here in the Puget Sound. Finally, the man who helped save baseball in Seattle is getting his due on the national stage! Can’t wait to celebrate at Safec....T-Mobile Park...

EDGAR FUCKING MARTINEZ. Finally.

Amateur.

The Good Place: The Podcast has made someone (me), who is strongly ambivalent to podcasts as a medium, listen to 36 episodes so far, which def counts for something in my book. It’s also one of the better glimpses into the (albeit delayed) live production of a major network sitcom on the books, which is just kinda cool

Yall... it is actually really bad journalism and really misleading to post about a recall for a product and then put a picture of a different, non recalled brand up. The pic is clearly an OB tampon; below is a picture of a Kotex tampon that was recalled:

All I can say is that I’m glad they’re recalling them.  Period.

I have two kids. It’s such a fine line between what they want for Christmas and what you know they’ll actually play with. No one wants disappointed kids on Christmas morning.

Whatever beautiful angel sacrificed their Wiki editing powers to let this gem come into form deserves the next admission ticket to the Good Place.

Could not agree more. It’s the very first setting I head for when I get a new set, and if I see it at a friend’s house I’ll bring it up. More often that not they knew something was off but didn’t know there was a setting. We find it, we nuke it, and they jump for joy.

I think the telltale sign will be when Dave Sims throws one of his many hats in anger and storms out of the broadcast booth screaming, “Fuck this shit!”

Yes. It's funny and pretty to look at, and I like shiny things that don't make me think.
