exactly my thoughts...

So wait. Are you telling me a purpose build dragcar is faster than a factory production car. That comes with a warranty. Crumple zones. Airbags. And a nifty crate with seats and tires in it.

Damn this was dark...take my star.

I like how you use a burner account because you’re too much of a coward to use your real one. Suck some more anti-uber kawk and cry about taxis losing their jobs to superior experiences. As you see I’m not alone in hating taxis. Keep crying loser.

Maybe if they are the taxis of tomorrow, but the older models are still pieces of shit. Saying otherwise is just wrong.

I agree with you, UBER didn’t kill the taxi business!  rude drivers, high fares, old smelly vehicles did!

My immediate thought upon seeing the image was current-gen Tundra in the long cab-long bed configuration.

I’m convinced it’s a Toyota Tundra Crewmax, based on the following details:

Jesus, calling someone a liar because they had a different experience then you did?

Nothing.

I live in NYC and take cabs on the regular.

They may be inspected but the cabs are shitty, smelly things.

Hahaha, I go to the city all the time. Because of the monopoly taxis had you get shit service, shit cars and vomited seats. They didn’t have to be good, just like union labor. Uber craps all over taxis, so deal with it. Case in point of a free market winning. We used to deal with dial up modem, I don’t see anyone

I was last in NYC in the Summer of 2016. I rode in a Ford Escape taxi as well as a Crown Vic. They were both terrible with Escape being worse of the two. You can call me a liar, that’s your right but me as well as a lot of others have had terrible taxi experiences. However clearly we’re all lying right?

I agree with you for the most part, but to be fair, I was just in Krakow, Poland and their mass transit (passenger trains, like the Boston T) absolutely puts NYC’s to shame. Though, I will say, most any other public transportation in a major city puts NYC’s to shame. Boston’s, when I lived there 5 years ago, was 1000x

That’s if you can even get in the car. If they don’t like the color of your skin they’ll just drive past like you weren’t even there.
