I’m glad to hear that. I thought at first they were just putting a picture of wood on the screen to make it look similar to the dash.
Wait, is the screen behind a little door? Or does it blend in with the wood and piano black trim that perfectly to display those gauges? Because if it’s blending, that is amazing.
Embarrassing to be seen in? Are you a middle schooler being driven around by your parents? It is quirky and different in a see of vanilla hatchbacks and crossovers. Guess I have just never given that much thought to appearances with my car. Interior and driving experience are what matters because it is what I see…
I think the entire Prius line-up, past and present, is far more deserving of that description.
There is only one thing wrong with the i3, and it’s this: it’s over-designed. Why did they have to make it so...well, ugly? Why did they have to make it look like a weird, futuristic box that wouldn’t have looked out of place as a background prop in some ‘90s space comedy with bad CGI? Why don’t they just make it look…
But, you get the tech from corporate, and his VAG can access all these ‘special’ modes to do stuff that wasn’t normally possible.

I don’t care about any of the issues it has, I always loved the Phaeton since it was announced, it’s just a exquisite piece of engineering. Who doesn’t want to drink a hot cup of tea with a beautiful woman in the back seat without fogging the windows?
