Yeah, that's actually pretty neat in theory! But by the time you even load up another game your match will probably be ready.

I think we all started dreaming when the Oculus Rift was announced and we started seeing what its capable of. I'm with you on the Rift replacing my tv,monitor,phone screen,glasses,life. Just imagine if the Rift and Google Glasses teamed up and combined their products. Now that's dreaming.

On topic: Wouldn't it be damn cool if you're playing a wanted character, then switch, and watch as your last character floors it to escape the cops?

This is definitely the sketchiest part of the game. As a kid I'd be delighted by the surprise of discovering which discs I got from a blind pack. Same way I liked the surprise of getting a random assortment of baseball cards from a pack when I was a kid. But as an adult, I see this layered on top of the Skylanders toy…

Ibex and Deskope both sort of do this, they allow you to view your monitor through the oculus.

I believe Andrew asked if he could use it to play his games as he would use a monitor. I see no mention of him asking if it would work with the standard desktop.

I have a basic question that I can't seem to find the answer to. If I managed to get a hold of a development Oculus, could I use it to play my games on as I would use a monitor?

This. I've been waiting and hoping for news that they'll allow you to change your PSN ID. Even if I have to shell out some cash, I'd gladly do it.

I actually want a Kinect with my Xbone. I may never use it to play games, but it seems to work so much better at controlling the system than Kinect 1.0 that I know I would get my money's worth from that alone.

So we the gamers get to take the RISK on kinect instead of billion dollar corporations. God forbid EA, Ubi and ACTI take the risk on Kinect. Instead, they expect us to all buy the mandatory peripheral on the HOPES that they eventually create software worth using.

So, not having Kinect would be a "Blow to the ENTIRE Industry" ?
