Hm, UBS headsets for XboxOne and normal Headsets for PS4? Well... good thing again that I am getting PS4. I don't have to buy a new headset. :)

I have a pair of Sony earbuds that have a built in mic and MP3 player controls. Cost $20, uses a standard headphone jack and works with any smartphone. Don't see why any console should need a proprietary headset jack other than just to make things a pain in the ass. Screw off, Microsoft.

It's a shame that so many people think it is. I get that it used to be. I experienced that first hand. Now, though? PSN tends to give me both a better connection and a better store interface than XBL does. In the end both XBL and PSN use clientside servers for most of their games.

I agree completely with everyone that says it happened too fast. An introduction video for Dan would have softened the blow. I've heard a number of rumours regarding Jon's departure and the only reason I think we don't know the whole story is because of how sudden this all was; it didn't feel planned at all.

Yeah it's really unfortunate. As much as the hate is uncalled for, some commenters do have a point that there was probably a better way to make these announcements, though. It's hard not to make a casual connection when both announcements happened at the same time.

I've seen a couple Game Grumps before... Jon Tron does have that irreplaceable appeal, but I just turned on this Danny episode and I'm enjoying it so far.. Sounds fun to me.
