I think it bears mentioning that there is an HP variant to the Ergotron called the "HP Single Monitor Arm" which is in fact made by Ergotron. Here it is on the Ergotron site even: http://www.ergotron.com/tabid/65/prdid…

Guillemot tried to put a positive spin on Unity's many problems by saying that Ubisoft had learned from its mistakes in transitioning to new technology, and will use this experience to benefit next year's Assassin's Creed game:

"Give me the game for $50, or better yet, give two options!"

Do you see characters snapping badly into scene? I do notice pop-in when I look at the civilians, but, when I play, I'm usually more focused on my own guy.

With the addition of the dynamic weather system, Driveclub races now have the potential to be more thrilling and unpredictable than ever before. Plus it's so damn pretty that I've found myself setting up custom races just to drive to scenic locations and watch the rain fall.

When I wrote about using the DS4 on PC, a few people in the comments mentioned that they have no problem reprogramming themselves regardless of which controller they're using. I've found that while it does throw me, I've gotten more used to it over time as well. So yeah, this isn't a huge deal or anything.

That gif made this article that much more interesting, glad you dumped it here ;)

Yea Uplay tends to take a serious hit anytime a new connected AAA Ubi game launches. For example you'll have trouble connecting to Black Flag multiplayer when Warchdogs launched :P It's a shame their launches are always so messy, because that's when the true fans are all there trying to connect to each other.

Nice yea, retail pre-order sales are what have kept me pre-ordering physical games for PS4, but I'm really starting to convert to PC regardless, even when that copy of Unity I am returning was $23 off. As for Rogue, I am 100% waiting for the PC version, no contest there for me, given its only on last gen at the

I'm considering playing the game in french, looks like the options allow to change only the voices to french (and keep the menus and everything written in english). I speak both english and french, so I'll understand it, but it will be odd to play an AC game in a different language. Though it may be less odd then

I'm actually returning my pre-ordered PS4 copy of Unity. I'm not planning on playing it until the bugs are officially fixed and the retailer pre-order dlc gets released to Season Pass holders. So I can afford to wait until I have my 970 anyway :P Since I play with a dualshock 4 on PC, the only difference will be

Interesting. Thanks for sharing that. Though I just looked it up, and your cpu has an edge on mine. I don't know exactly where the drop off happens between not-a-bottleneck and is-a-bottleneck, but since our cpus are relatively close, I'm guessing I'll be fine. (unless yours is overclocked, then there's potentially a

I'm planning on upgrading to a 970 shortly, what cpu do you have? I'm a little worried that my i5 4440 might hinder performance a bit, but I'm also hopeful it won't be too much of a bottleneck.

Well I'm not a big FF fan (though I played the hell out of FFX), so I wasn't planning on testing this on that game. I just want this to become a common thing, rather than an isolated case. Anyway the DS4 Tool does the trick in the meantime.

Yea of course that makes sense and I figured as much. Still, I continue to hope for broader adoption :)

Wow that's awesome. It's likely an isolated case, though it would be absolutely awesome if it started showing up in other games.

Didn't know FFXIV had PS button prompts on PC... Does that make it the first PC game to have PS button prompts? I am really hoping devs start giving us the option, would be nice not to have the brain do the conversion on the fly all the time :P

Given that the DS4 Tool has been around for a while now, I'm guessing that a good number of you out there already use it. If so, how has your experience been?

The DualShock 4 has one advantage that I didn't anticipate: The controller's built-in trackpad. (I know! The trackpad!) I play a lot of games with my PC plugged into the TV in my living room, especially around this time of year. While I can navigate some things using Steam's big picture mode, I still need to do a fair

It must be said that both the Xbox One and 360 controllers still offer a smoother experience than the DualShock 4 - both of those are essentially seamless at this point, so the DS4 Tool, while not all that finicky, is still the more finicky option. It also did take a little doing to get my brain to read on-screen Xbox
