Yes, the messaging elements work as advertised. And being able to see activity feeds and manage friend requests on the go is fine, too. But overall, the experience continues to feel half-baked, as if Sony knows the iOS space is too important to ignore but really couldn't be bothered to put a real effort. It'd be nice

Granted, Sony has promised that they'll be offering some sort of subscription program when the service actually launches, but at least for now, don't bother with the PS Now beta unless you've got a fat wallet.

Jesus so you're one of those "there aren't enough games" on the brand new console that just came out kind of guys huh? If you're jaded to VR it's clearly of your own doing. Exactly what do you expect from a technology that is not even "consumer ready"... Of course you're bored, only a handful of demos pop up from time

Seriously... FFS, is no one catching onthe fact that we will all be playing as Arno? The other assassin's are just coop skins, that each player will perceive each other as. No one is actually going to see THEMSELVES as any of the ther characters. I give up though, let everyone have a hissy fit while there are so many

I like this take on the concept, but price will be the deciding factor for whether I look into this or not...

Koller: GTA V is going to be, I think, a title we'll talk about more in the weeks and months to come, but GTA V and the GTA franchise is something that will be something very special on PlayStation.

News that Ubisoft scuttled plans for including female playable characters in the upcoming Assassin's Creed Unity was met by scorn and derision by many video game commentators last night. Now, Kotaku has an official statement from Ubisoft on the controversy.

That's what I was thinking. Seems to me we're at least one generation of Kinect away still from this concept being ACTUALLY interesting. Seems awefully repetitive as is and not a all fluid.

There was a close call recently at Ohi Racecourse in Tokyo. During yesterday's race, a cat wandered onto the track, right in front of the oncoming horses. Thankfully, the cat was quick and safely escaped.

I actually couldn't sign in to AC Initiates this morning. I wanted to complete a few missions in AC3 for initiates, but no go. I kept getting a wrong password message. It works now, but it's sluggish, and I'd rather not waist my time completing tasks that may or may not register, so I guess I'll wait this out. As

I was just going to comment on this fact. They tasked a dude with no experience to make this to prove how easy it is. Of course if they dedicated actual Epic programmers the game would be better. It would have multiplayer and 3d backgrounds and particle effects :P Point being that a large part of the article here is

You know that's the exact conclusion I've come to. I'll play them on PS4 and then consider repurchasing on Steam way down the line. I just did that with AC3 and AC Liberation HD and I'm having a blast rediscovering them on PC.

Hehe, yep, damn TV. I can't seem to choose a good replacement, and then I don't have the cash to buy one anyway. I just want VR to arrive already, and I'll just play all my games on a virtual screen that'll look bigger than my current one :P

I have everything wired together pretty much, so streaming isn't a selling point. Vita remote play is neat, but I can frankly say I haven't used it since launch. I tested it at launch, was relatively impressed, and then never saw a use for it (much to my surprise). The PS4 has the upper hand for me right now because

The next game from the people behind Bastion comes out on Tuesday for PC and PlayStation 4. Here's the launch trailer. Unsurprisingly, it's totally rad. We'll have a review of the game up for you next week.

Back in 2012, I said this about the game: "Botanicula is only on PC but feels destined for the iPad, so you should play it so that in six months when all the iPad people are freaking out you can be all hipster about it." It took a while longer than I thought it would, but PC players, your time for hipsterism has come.

EDIT: Ah never mind. Seems my original comment was based on misconceptions dating back to when PS+ was originally started. I found this post clarifying that you do indeed keep what you buy. http://www.examiner.com/article/sony-c… Thanks for helping me realize this! Good god what were Sony thinking then with this

I sure enjoyed watching the Grumps play it. As for this game, I feel like this is what I've been waiting for to play a game like this. A nintendo-zelda/mario style platformer, but as a new IP with hopefully new ideas to go along with it too.

I don't think I'd last 5 second before I'd be running for the puke basket...

Gotta agree with you there. Plus there's something pretty neat about Mickey wielding that lightsaber imo :)
