I half agree. I love Linux and I love Stallman's work, but try to have some respect for the dead. Even though Apple is EVIL, Steve Jobs really did change the world and was a great innovator.

A patent is an idea not necessarily a product. Example, I can patent the idea for a time machine right now, if I know how it would be manufactured. Then when some guy actually starts to manufactur it he's going to owe me royalties from his sales.

No I agree with that, the point I was trying to get across is the technology is definitly there but it's supressed.

I wish cable companies would just go away. We live in an age where the internet should run everything, but greedy cable and phone companies ruin that experience and set us back in the stone age.
