‘Reservoir Dogs is Tarantino’s worst movie.’

The ‘get go’ being Reservoir Dogs, which is arguably his least stylized, most emotionally direct film, and has to be in the running for Best Initial Film by any major filmmaker in the history of the medium, even if you don’t like Tarantino. But sure, eat your count chocula and keep making dumb sweeping statements

Uh, to be fair, nowhere in the text of the film is it ever implied that Vincent is anything but a semi- or even extremely stupid person.

There does seem to be SOMETHING twisted going on between them. She was clearly brought up short by his passion. Yes it’s creepy and degrading, but let’s face it—sometimes that’s just kinda hot (I mean, they ARE on the dark side, after all).

‘I’m a 40+ oldster on the internet! I’ve won! I’ve decreed that ALL Star Wats properties shall be as well-written and beautifully produced/acted as Andor, regardless of tone!’

Angela Bassett seems to have decided to completely ignore age, and honestly a more mature woman as Storm would be a cool choice. Bassett plays ‘smoking hot legendary badass’ in her sleep, which is pretty much Storm in a nutshell.  Too bad she’s already cast in the MCU in a fairly prominent role.

SPOILER:  it ends with a big dumb chase scene

No way in hell am I falling for this again.

America Chavez?  From that movie I just watched?  That’s a push, guys.  Even for a list that includes Foxx’s Electro.

So SCOTUS continues to be a massive partisan shit-sandwich gleefully marching the country towards a cold civil war, while Busy Philips continues to be fucking rad.

We should have taken to the streets when McConnell refused to hold nomination hearings for Garland.  That definitely includes ME.  Complacency fucked us.

AOC is most effective as a scapegoat for the lazy, uninspired garbage fire that is the Democratic leadership.  Everything she has said publicly about clear promises and transparent strategy post-Roe is completely and utterly correct.  The Democrats have been bringing a toothbrush to a gunfight for at least the last 20

Harvey Fierstein is on line 1, and he is PISSED

Tom Hanks was a HUGE mainstream star in 1993, had been for almost a decade (since ‘Splash’)... certainly a bankable leading man, though mostly a comedic one.   His supporting role in ‘League of Their Own’ (which was a huge hit the previous year) essentially teed him up for his later dramatic work.

Uh, no. Forget the fans of The Cure who will rally behind the early/more obscure albums— there is no excuse for loving ‘Wish’ when ‘Disintegration’’ is RIGHT. THERE.

Maybe because even if you’re not that into her biggest hit in the US (Wuthering Heights)— Once you listen to the entire album of Hounds of Love, it is impossible not to be astonished at the brilliance of that record.

Finished it, and still astonished at how stupidly it squandered the opportunity to be— abou anything whatsoever.  Goodbye Disney plus!

I’m 3/4ths through this episode and it feels like THE most insultingly dumb thing Marvel’s ever done, and a complete betrayal of Isaac’s commitment to this character. Disney is clearly steering this shop. Any hint of Marvel’s subversiveness sailed away with Irin Man 3, it seems

Let’s just hope he watches movies better than he draws feet!
