@Stellar25: No foolin' - ever notice that with the exception of the second Clubber Lang fight, every fight he's in, he's losing going into the final round? If Drago and Creed had just stayed away in the final round, shit would have gone down a lot differently.

When nerds turn on other nerds - a sad day. Can't they remember the real enemy - the Alpha Betas? They're never going to be able to take over the student council if they're fightin' each other.

Yep, those are your hardcore fans - the ones buying a PC port years after the original has been out.

@Juche: I'm a "self-respecting PC gamer" and I'll be getting it on day 1. Not all PC gamers are deluded, elitst pricks who pretend consoles give you gonorrhea.

@HotChops: Bingo. It's sad to see so many people crow about "digital content" being the future, as if it's a good thing.

Just hooked up the Dreamcast a couple of weeks ago to, among other things, play Showtime again. Still as fun as it ever was.

My 6th grade/1991 self is smiling at this news. My current self has more of a "meh, don't care about either" reaction. Sad things have happened in the last 8-9 years, on both sides.

As someone who just hooked up their DC for the first time in about 7 years, having Crazy Taxi in there made me smile.

I've been saying this for a while. This game is hardly a given to be outstanding.

@earle117: Dear god, get out of my head. I agree with every single point you made in regards to the MK games. I hadn't had had as much fun with a co-op brawler as I did with Shaolin Monks since the 16-bit era.

Shaolin Monks was my favorite co-op beat-em-up since the days of Final Fight/Streets of Rage. It annoys the hell out of me that they didn't make this game.

@Z_Naught: I couldn't care less about it.

The Ramones version of the Spider-Man theme?! That is so awesomely random. Or randomly awesome.

I may have to buy this just because they bothered to put in the Lions fight song.

"Due to popular demand?" People really were really hollering to pay for stuff they should get for free?

@johnLD: Uh....if you mean the Namco X Capcom/Capcom X Namco games as the "other 2 version games that is going to come out" (??), then the SF X Tekken games would be those. Thare are not 4 games coming out.

I STILL like Karate Champ better than most 1-on-1 fighting games. Innovative controls that work, and simple to learn/fun gameplay. Nothing like parrying a guy's punch and doing a jump kick to his face, complete with creepy voice declaring you the winner.

I thought the MS one yesterday was really weak, but this is even worse. The "Blu-Ray powered" thing is hilarious.

Robble robble.
