I agree that it would be a shame to lose its classic midwestern quality, but that doesn't mean it couldn't also be diverse. There's a thriving Muslim community in Minnesota, and Minneapolis is a diverse city in general.

Yeah, I get it. I'm just saying that the visual didn't diminish the performance for me. I'm actually in the "doesn't need to be a movie" camp, but the visual of Cecil isn't the problem.
I felt this way until I saw the live show. Actually seeing Cecil was awesome and did nothing to diminish his creepy charm!
