Yeah, my feelings about Snoke after TFA echoed my feelings about the Emperor after TESB: “Why should I care about this old evil dude who just barely appeared in the movie?” They may still turn Snoke into a compelling villain if they revisit the character for prequels, but he served his purpose in the current trilogy…

The dumb internet hill I choose to die on is arguing that Abrams and Kasdan didn’t even set up Snoke or Rey’s family as big mysteries — they were there to explore if the next guy wanted to, and he obviously had mixed feelings about what was and wasn’t worth pursuing.

Since getting Moviepass, I’ve been to the theater way more than I would have otherwise. I’ve seen movies I never would have considered paying for. From what we’ve been told, movie pass still pays full price for every ticket sold, to the theater. So in essence, the theater doesnt lose a dime.

I would assume the benefit is an increase in traffic, right? MoviePass is covering the cost of the ticket and any increase in concessions is a good thing for the theaters, it just might not be an ideal expectation long term.

I always love when someone makes a general criticism and then people who get butthurt about it go and prove the criticism 100% correct.

Obviously who knows what this particular instance means, but I’ll say that I’ve been using MoviePass for about 4.5 years now and theaters have fluctuated throughout — not drastically, but one will drop here, a new one will be added there. This might be the one that really signifies the end... or it might just be that…

Nickelodeon’s TMNT series recently wrapped up last year and they’ve got a new series coming later this year (with Raph as the leader and a black April). They also made a new arcade beat-’em-up in Japan a few months ago based on the 2012 series.

Well, I mean, it also helps that a lot of the media was also well made. The first movie is just as awesome as it was back then, most of the video games back in the 8-bit and 16-bit eras are still great, the cartoon had a great voice cast, and both the 4Kids and Nick shows are well done respectively.
