in THIS video LochVaness dismounts IN A REASONABLE WAY and still twisted her ankle so ya this was a dumb idea all around. she prob stepped on the firm foam to get that twist. can’t win situation. (her comment is hyperbolic though - why trust them in the first place)

I know! they could have stayed with the same level of detail from the games, upped the lighting, and then had the benefit of less render time but nope had to make work to justify the cost I guess.

well, or you know, the gigantically wide open anime eyes. I agree that too many things are considered default that shouldn’t be - male, white, western cultural values, but the fact anime stole style points from Disney back in the day skewed the end results.

as a kid in 82 I thoroughly enjoyed a story he was in but I’m pretty sure it was the villain that made it interesting. nah I kid - Eugene was earnest which made him charming, like a less skilled Kate Bishop

the problem is then that the Logan movie and other mutant titles didn’t reflect any MCU aspects nor did the MCU reflect any mutant events so thats gotta be a multiverse 2029

thats one of the big things about the trailer.  when I first saw it I was sure it was destined to fail by not having it use one of those old film filters to make it look grainy.  go ahead and have it in color but at least wash it out!  when I saw it though I enjoyed its over saturated color.  I still think HD and HDR…

I defend its look and the crew’s competance when it comes to shooting the movie but I didn’t have a single laugh while watching it either. meanwhile even though I have watched my fair share of Munsters TV re-runs I don’t remember laughing during any of those as well.

ya even with my tolerance for the movie due to its look, I was weirded out by that run length. had to fight fast forwarding after 1 hour.

ya he hams it up. reminds me of his Doctor Who days only more goofy if thats even a thing
