You never heard that about W? I sure did.

That’s my point. Somehow I don’t think people here who blow their tops if someone said family connections helped Kennedy or Bush. But if you do the same with Hillary Clinton, because she’s a woman, people lose their minds.

That’s not what I said.

All I’m saying is it was a factor. As you have said, there have been many other First Ladies and none of them have come close to the political career Hilary has had.

Bill was the better politican and was always going to be first.

I disagree. The Clintons became well-known because Bill was a gifted politician. Hillary is anything but.

Sexist stereotypes can sometimes be true. To believe Hillary didn’t benefit from her connection with Bill is absurd.

I am not saying a woman is not capable of becoming President or a Senator without a man’s help. In Hillary’s case, however, it’s silly to assume she didn’t gain beneficial connections from her association with Bill.

You believe Bill has nothing to do with Hillary’s success. I disagree. Likewise I believe this woman’s coach likely has some small amount of influence on her success.

I’m sorry. I forgot that no one was allowed to say anything bad about Hillary Clinton here. From now on I will only talk about how bad Trump is. Thank you.

You’re claiming Hillary’s association with Bill has not helped her at all? That it is merely a coincidence the likely first female President just happens to be a former First Lady? I would strongly disagree but you can believe whatever you want.

I’m sorry that happened to you.

Funny how you haven’t said the same to the person who brought up Bill Clinton in a post about Olympic swimming.

So it’s not a big deal if a woman throws a lamp or plate and her partner’s head because women are, on average, not as strong as men?

That might be true. It just seems so absurd that people actually believe Hillary Clinton would be in the same position she is currently in if she hadn’t been First Lady. They think it’s just a coincidence that the likely first ever female President also happens to be the wife of a former President?

I expect to be attacked for telling the truth. You can believe she is a self-made woman all you want but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want to seem like a reasonable person.

Can we agree that it’s unlikely Hillary Clinton would have been a Senator or Secretary of State if she wasn’t married to Bill?

and women who do that?

Yeah, I don’t think they meant it like that. Calm down.

Calm down. No one meant that the person not in the pool set the world record.
