I wish you nothing but the best in the future.
I wish you nothing but the best in the future.
I swear only about 10% of those homes ever sell. The ending update is that they are still waiting for offers or decided to rent it out.
I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m sure it has been a stressful, heartbreaking few months and I wish you nothing but the best as you deal with the loss.
Thank you. It happened when I was 19 (36 now) so I have had time to heal, but hearing about anyone with pancreatic cancer makes me feel a unique sadness for those sufferers. Though of course, fuck all cancers.
I’m sorry you’re in this position. I hope your dad finds success in his treatments.
My dad was gone 2 weeks after diagnosis. Stomach pain, doctor’s visit, and just gone. I donate to the Lustgarten Foundation and, given that there is some genetic risk, worry about myself and my brother.
I don’t know how flight attendants can do the takeoff multiple times a day, almost every day. That little lurch when it leaves the ground, always gives me a funny stomach feeling. Not like I’m going to vomit, but just an unpleasant sensation.
I like it when they guess really big stars. I think somebody said Elton John for the peacock. Yes, that’s right and the lion is Beyonce!
And the Funbag will be handled by a “rotating cast of characters.” So Drew won’t be back next week or even two weeks. Whatever happened to him is obviously bad, but I hope it is something he can completely recover from.
I do this at Walmart all the time. There can be a line of people scrambling for their receipts, but I just walk out. On the occasions when they ask for my receipt I say “no, thank you” (I’m always polite about it). Usually they just shrug and tell me to have a nice day.
“Tina Turner (our second of the day?)“
Well I’ll probably spend the afternoon playing the “Jazz!” clip on a loop.
I know for a fact that Brad Pitt’s charity sucks. They have screwed over many of their “partners.” Not just in New Orleans. I don’t want to say too much, but it is very difficult to work with them. Lawyers have to get involved.
I figured it wouldn’t be around long because of the way they changed its schedule and how it would just seem to disappear for months at a time. But I love it! Andre Braugher is amazing and should win an Emmy. And Terry, Boyle, Hitchcock & Scully. Damn it!!!
I love those two episodes (the “cry into my fleece vest, they’re all dead” joke on the car accident one always makes me lol). Honestly, I could listen to a podcast of her just talking about her mom and dad. I love when she tells these little anecdotes on MFM.
I’ve bought several books of bound copies of Life magazines from the 40s and 50s. I love them! For those that love the ads, taschen (I think) has a series of books with print ads from the 1910s to 1990s.
I don’t think the brother will be able to tease for much longer. He’s going to be pretty bald himself in a few years.
I didn’t even reach the box. I don’t know how they even measured that. I’m convinced that I’m missing a ligament or something because I could do all other stretches, but that one I would move forward like two inches and that’s it.
I started listening to the BBC news podcast. I have learned a ton about events in countries rarely covered in American news. Although they talk about American news, skipping over it so I don’t have to listen to his stupid voice and get angry means I can still be informed about the rest of the world with less stress.
That was my first thought. Then I thought maybe he was just trying to wave someone over, but these updates make me think he was just immediately trying to move his extremities.
