I’m not going to say that your opinion is wrong or anything but you can’t compare jrpgs or rpgs with anime because they’re completely different. However, I will argue that 90% of anime isn’t garbage. Yeah there are repetitive themes and plots but it’s not 90%. Maybe 50%, definitely above 40%.

Finally, somebody agrees! If anything, I’d have him check out the .hack series or Tower of Druaga.
