Everyone’s negative reaction to this is crazy. I hate, hate, HATE the F2P model, and would much rather pay $40-60 and be done then have to either earn in-game currency over a long period of time (or wait until the character is on a free weekend) or pay piecemeal to get the characters I think I might want.

See, and here I was thinking that the twist of the movie was that we weren’t seeing events that actually happened, but that this was just the main character’s novel that she was working on.

You could say that same thing about Gotham as well, but introducing more characters != suddenly a better show. I think that AoS slower approach, while making the beginning of the series a little slow, has actually worked out to the show's benefit. The slow reveal of Dethlok (sp?) over the course of season 1 was way

I would probably agree with you if I had only watched the first 8 episodes of AoS. However, I think the show has significantly improved over the course of the 2 seasons and is now more than capable of holding its own now.

I can accept super-bad awful CGI... It's when you couple bad CGI with super fast cuts and blurs so I can't tell what's going on; that pulls me out of movies completely.

He didn't come with them to Paris because, while quicksilver is awesome. he pretty much eliminates any potential for tension at all... have the things that go bad in Paris would have been impossible if quicksilver had been there.

I think that such a show can in fact work, even if it means that Gordon doesn't catch certain criminals or even if he is only able to temporarily lock some away. Heck, even Batman can never put away any of these villains for good, despite the overwhelming amount of evidence against all of them. What we will probably

Between this and Young Justice it doesn't seem like Network TV knows how to deal with adults that like cartoons.

Point taken. Perhaps I should have worded it that the show has raised some interesting questions (which is why I like the show) but hasn't gone very far with them. That's why I'm hoping that they get a second season, or at the very least a book or graphic novel.

I was really hoping this show would be able to be a live-action Ghost in the Shell: Stand-Alone Complex or Psycho-Pass. I feel like the show could get there, but I feel like being a network show is holding them back from asking any kind of philosophical questions or expanding themselves to something greater. I hope it

Considering the article's talk about the evolution of religion and even religious harmony with advancing technology, i.e the spritual ramifications of cyborgs(!) I feel that this article is relevant to io9's interest. Granted, it might not be your specific cup of tea, but at least read the article before you blast it

it's a tachikoma!

I'm not going to lie, Scarlet Spider is my favorite Spidey too. Both this version and honestly, the new version with Kaine. They even almost tricked everyone with Kraven as Scarlet Spider. I thought it was him and almost had a fanboy moment.

I wonder if they bring Peter Parker back and end Superior Spider-man (Doc Ock) if that will make this list, or if it will be heraled as the greatest rebirth ever.

You can't have a time travel story without Bishop and Cable. But these movies already royally screwed up Jean and Scott so no Cable. That's the biggest shame here.
