Well, I felt the same way about your comment, so I guess we're even, but at least my comment was true.

Well, if e-books don't count, then the last one was Lake of the Long Sun by Gene Wolfe. And I only read it in print because it's the only one in the entire solar cycle series that wasn't out as an e-book while I was reading them.
It does if the point of the time spent was to find enjoyment.
Of course they have. Nearly every “new” thing that has ever been created is just a different version of something that already existed.
All video games are a waste of time.
Yeah, a lot of these little things go a long way (especially the car physics). GTA V was great for its scope and story, but the moment-to-moment gameplay was more satisfying in GTA IV.
There’s no plans to bring it to Xbox. They just submitted for approval so they wouldn’t have to resubmit later if they decide to publish on that platform. It will probably get ported eventually, but Blow is hesitant to work with MS again.
He'd have to be developing something for that.
Why is he no longer considered an "indie developer?"
For more people than you think, yeah.
If it makes you feel better, I promise not to give a shit when you die.
Your comment is incredibly dumb, and you should stop talking before you make it any clearer to everyone how little you know about anything.
I prefer to keep it simple and just call them hypocrites.
A good Christian has a moral responsibility to support Bernie Sanders, but most Christians in this country aren't particularly good Christians.
I did as well, but I’m talking more about the grenade/ammo menu that floats in front of you, and the health bars (especially the health bars, since the appearance of your enemy’s armor doesn’t indicate its actual effectiveness; that health bar is necessary to assess your enemy’s strength). It ends up looking…
Probably not for me, either way. I didn't like Destiny at all, and I'm usually not a fan of games that rely heavily on a HUD interface unless it's a flight/dogfighting kind of game where the HUD is integrated into your vehicle in a realistic manner.
Well, that kind of leads to another problem: the game seems to throw too much info at the player via the HUD. You're busier looking at the map, the damage counters, the health bars, etc. than you are actually looking at what's happening. In a game based on fast-paced encounters like firefights, I'm not sure that's a…
Oh, and they did something smart: your armor and packs are stat boosters. The items that dictate your appearance like jackets and hats have no effect on stats.
I don’t think casual gamers are looking for less dialogue options, though. And I think the older VATS system that actually stopped time completely was more casual-friendly than the one in FO4.
The problem is that data might be important, even vital. If you've created a game that whose mechanics require you to display that much data to the player during a fast-paced situation like a firefight, I'm not sure you've created a very enjoyable game.
