I think they’d take less time to develop if SE was better at setting goals and planning projects from the beginning. XV especially seemed like it never knew what it was trying to be.  Instead it felt like a bunch of disparate pieces that didn’t really ever gel into a cohesive whole, and were eventually just pushed out

My counterpolicy: I don’t buy their games until they are super cheap.

Minecraft has a lot more content now than it did back then.  No additional content has been added to these DLCs to justify the price hike.

that’s how I know this is a promoted article.

If roguelikes aren’t your thing, Hades probably won’t change your mind, despite being good for what it is.

They did. They discussed them a few weeks ago. They didn’t create them a few weeks ago.

Well, you can’t deny that subscription services are where people get their media now.  This is just MS recognizing the lay of the land.

It’s more than MS has recognized that the industry competition of the future isn’t a war between competing console hardware, it’s a war between competing subscription services.

If this game is going for a campy, “intentionally bad” tone like Snakes on a Plane or Sharknado, then maybe.  But that doesn’t seem to be what they’re trying to do.

That actually makes it worse, because not only is the dialogue bad, it’s tonally inconsistent with the setting, which makes it’s badness stand out all the more.  It’s not a matter of suspending disbelief.  It’s a matter of “that sounds dumb.”

You’re right.  I should have said “absolutely.”

Yes, please send us more blue voters.

There are plenty of games with randomized loot.  “Lootbox” refers to randomized loot you pay for.

The trailer wasn’t newsworthy. The memes were. See also: Morbius, another case where the newsworthiness of the surrounding memes was not an indicator of quality.

Wow, I had no idea Strangers of Paradise had even released already.

You probably need to get off Twitter, then.  Frankly, that’s never bad advice.

A lot of people shared Morbius memes, too.

Is the ad particularly good? No.

People have inner monologues, but they don’t usually sound like a Gen-Y Ferris Bueller talking to the camera.
