Then the TOS is morally and ethically bankrupt because it is enforced more effectively against people discussing the abuse they face than it is against the people doing the abusing.  It is literally failing and then being used to silence the people who call it out for failing.

Is it really transphobic to think transwomen born male should not be allowed to compete against women that were born female?

Who is “they?” The show was moved because the staff chose not to work the event.

Yet another example of the WOKE Cancel Culture LBGQT White Snowflakes acting like the bitches they truly are intimidating anyone who OFFENDS them.

No one denied him his right to express himself. They just chose not to host it.

I tried it out on GamePass not long ago. The whole thing just had a slightly unfinished feel. There’s potential to it, but I think it needs to tighten up its gameplay loops, and find ways to make exploring ruins more fun.

Anyone making Netflix specials hasn’t been “canceled.”

Amazing.  Everything you just said was wrong.

If you have a PS5 to play PS5 games, why are you playing a remake of a PS4 game in the first place.  You’re already playing an old game.  Save yourself $50 and skip the incremental graphics upgrade.

Because “gamey gametown” implies that all games are just the same and that’s demonstrably not true. It implies that bad games aren’t “games” in some way or that “good” games aren’t “games” in some way.

I’m not angry. I’m wryly amused at the executive of a company known for mistreating its workers using a project that is an entirely known quantity from the beginning as a disingenuous example of supposed improved working conditions as though that’s not an intentionally misleading apples/oranges comparison.

If you’re a new player I’d recommend you get the PS4 remaster. You aren’t getting $50 worth of graphical improvement based on those screenshots.

How about if people want it you not go out of your way to dissuade people out of wanting to be excited about it by feeding negativity.

My favorite part of this whole deal is ND crowing about how this game was made “without crunch.”

So are you saying that the worship of novelty isn’t an issue?

“Evisceration” ain’t what it used to be.

I don’t recall there being any form of combat or horror elements in the trailers I saw, but maybe I didn’t follow the marketing as closely as some.

The term “game” has been a really poor descriptor of what video games have been doing for decades, and it’s time we stopped letting the limitations of our vocabulary stifle our ability to talk about interactive digital experiences in more nuanced contexts. Saying things like “heaven forbid a video game be a game”

It’s exhausting how predictable this all is.  I feel like I’ve spent the past decade watching a train that never stops crashing.

I’m not defending the police. Their actions absolutely need to be investigated and they need to be held accountable.
