They’re supposed to be releasing the cut content as free DLC for the Switch version.

The thing is, it’s writing is 1000% better, and the story they were telling is 1000% more interesting.  But the game was absolutely rushed to release, and so a lot of that writing eventually goes nowhere, and it’s plagued with bugs (although so is the original KOTOR).

I really wish there was a demo for this, because this strikes me as the type of game you can’t really get a feel for from videos and reviews, and I’m not sure I want to risk $25 bucks to find out if it’s for me.

So these people were spending an entire 8-hour workday in VR? Why? Most of us work solo at a desk the majority of the time. That’s why workplaces have cubicles and offices. VR is only useful for meetings, and if you’re spending 40 hours a week in meetings you aren’t being productive anyway.

I think they’re more being snarky about people at Bethesda already talking about the game that will come after the game they haven’t even gotten past pre-production, which will be after the delayed game that hasn’t even released yet.

That’s just selection bias. This error jumps out because it’s offensive.  There’s no telling how many similar errors have come and gone but no one noticed because they were completely innocuous.
