I’m not sure a single tech demo that’s not even tied to a real game is actually proof of anything meaningful.  The new consoles are obviously improvements over the previous generation, but I wouldn’t expect there to be many actual games that look as good as this demo.

I don’t know about GotY.  It was the perfect GamePass game, though.  I installed, spent 8-10 hours tearing around Mexico until I got bored, then uninstalled.  Without GamePass I doubt I’d have ever played the game at all.
