I think this is a clever game. I think it might even be a great game. But I’m not sure if it’s a game for me. It’s a very weird place to be.

This is a great article, but I can’t imagine a phrase more likely to destroy my interest in a game than “it’s like Twitter.”
Yes it is, but I don’t see why that’s strange either.
No, he’s watching a bunch of people play a game of their own choosing that just so happens to take place on a baseball field, and telling them they’re playing baseball wrong.
I used kickball and baseball because it’s more like playing a completely different game that just happens to take place on the same field.
But I know all too well that certain aspects of our personalities can become part of our identities to such an extent that they are no longer rational decisions, but instead simply facts about us that we accept without question.
What you’re doing here is the equivalent of telling people who are playing kickball that you’re only interested in baseball.
Then you weren’t ever going to buy a PS5 anyway, so you’re no lost sale.
Great, your personal exception has disproven everything. Argument withdrawn.
Except that you and I both know that’s not how people think - and the majority will likely take this as a signal that, hey, wait long enough and the shit’s gonna come to PC regardless.
I don’t see many PC fans rushing out to buy a PlayStation 5 after this news.
No one is buying a PS4 for HZD three years after it’s release. That ship has sailed.
whilst art is 100% open to all kinds of criticism, it is not subject to change.
You’re intentionally misrepresenting my argument, and the point of the article. And you’re being a dick about it.
But a reason they can give, and I’m not sure you would accept, is “We don’t want to”.
The problem, as always, is people.
The issue is the reason why they said they couldn’t do it. Which you would know if you’d read the article.
Thats insane and indicitive of an oblivious person
Didn’t start with the internet. See: pretty much any counter-culture or sub-culture in the past century....probably further back than that. Video games are just one of the latest fronts in the culture war. The real news is how social media and the internet have changed the means by which the culture was is fought.
