Looks like we’re approaching a Ghostbusters 2 situation.

Is that what you think you’re doing? I don’t think you know what your point even is.
Go on literally any of those streams and see if you can find a single one where the comment section isn’t hypersexualizing the person.

Just because parents should be better about what they expose their children to doesn’t mean our culture bears no responsibility about how we behave around children as well.
Sure sure, that’s the line they used to get you into the vault. I want to know what the instructions to the overseer were.
That’s not at all the argument I’m making, and I’m tired of dealing with your disingenuous straw men. Have a nice day.
That’s true, if you strip every scenario down to its simplest components and ignore all context and nuance, you can make any dumb thing sound reasonable.
I mean my employer wouldn’t accept me walking around in body paint.
They’re not her employer. They’re the platform she chooses to use to broadcast her content. Those are not remotely the same thing. They can choose not to host her, certainly, and we, as consumers, can be critical of Twitch for that decision.
Why should the platform do anything to her? She’s not doing anything wrong. She’s not doing anything inherently sexual or inappropriate, and she’s not responsible for teenagers being horny enough to jerk off to anything, including stick figures if that’s all they’ve got.
RDR2 has nearly the content of The Witcher 3. And The Witcher 3 is several years old now, and has released across several platforms, so of course it’s been discounted. It would still be worth $60 if it hadn’t, though.
None of which makes this woman responsible for their lack of maturity, and none of which makes anything that she is doing inherently sexual. She’s not the problem here.
Kids aren’t being “exposed” to anything inherently sexual here. Nudity does not equal sex.
Do you honestly think there are people calmly stroking their chins while they watch an attractive woman paint their mostly naked body, out there?
I guess you know better for those developers, huh? They don’t get a say in what’s best for them. I’m sure they’d love for you to take their jobs away and make their decisions for them. Because you care so much.
None of that changes the fact that what she is doing is not inherently sexual. She is not responsible for other people’s lack of maturity.
Yes, instead we should have boycotted R*, thus eliminating their revenue and seeing to it that the employees you care so much about all wound up unemployed while the executives bailed out with their golden parachutes and floated off to some other publisher to start the process all over again.
Dont really see why people were getting upset over crunch time and overtime. 100-hour crunch times are normal in game development,
That’s because Kotaku still has some of the best investigative journalists on the gaming beat. No one else follows the industry on that level.
