Just look at the Instagram pages of TheShadeRoom and WorldStarHipHop. Like their parents and grandparents, they love to consume black culture on their terms. When racial injustice is brought up on those pages you see comments from yt2ks like“guys this is decisive!” or “you’re the ones spreading hate!” I have no hope…

And if any immigrants wanted to take claim to this argument, it would be the Chinese who built much of our railways in the west (with the help of blacks and indigenous people).

Oh this is sad. I’m reminded of an article I read a couple years ago that mentioned that their’s a shortage of black stunt people.

I don’t want to sound like a conspiracy theorists, but we’re living in the Age of Aquarius! Dark times, that I hope and pray everyone who is a victim of these White Supremacist is safe and protected.

What a great year of television. I’m pretty ok with these noms. I’m really rooting for Jeffrey Wright. That scene when he realized he wasn’t in control was heartbreaking!

I hate to say it but the work that Elizabeth Moss did in Handmaids was phenomenal. I’m happy Samira got recognized but Ann Dowd as Aunt Lydia was a sight and I hope she takes home the award!
