oh damn, no i’ve never been to the west coast. just a friend of mine was upset that a pic of her kid on a trail (not touching anything) got her a nasty message from him.

Yeah he’s getting threats because in some cases hes going after influencers by attacking their kids on instagram and leaving them nasty comments (who weren’t even on public lands when they took the pictures so offensive to his sensibilities).
