There are worse things. I'm just going to leave this here...

I was worse. I ate a bath oil ball from one of the big bins at Peir 1. Sadly, I'm pretty sure my mom had warned me not to beforehad. I can vaguely remember the experience, and knowing it was a terrible idea, but they smelled so good, and looked like candy; I just couldn't hold back. Truthfully, most bath oil balls

Does that mean I was the only kid that loved to eat bullion cubes? I thought they were delicious, and used to beg my mom to let me have them.

But, but- WHAT ABOUT THESE POOR RAPISTS' BRIGHT FUTURES??!! WON'T SOMEONE PLEASE THINK ABOUT THE MENZ?

I plan to tell my kids to stay at home and go to community college for the first two years. It saves money and prevents this kind of unsupervised free-for-all. At 20, then they are free to apply to a more prestigious school and take out whatever loans they need to pay for it. If it's an affordable, in-state school, my

You are right. This drug is not used frequently for rape, and certainly not among fraternities. They probably just wanted to party!

Here's a scary (human) story for all you online-daters:

I love you aunt, "you could have told me about the ghost!"

Maybe because you got out of the house the bad thing never got to happen....

This one is more comforting and strange than scary — perhaps that will be a nice change after reading all these threads?

Are you me? I'm a science based type person with an almost encyclopedic knowledge of how to get rid of certain nasties.

I've never heard the rule that Christians don't believe in ghosts, and I think it sounds awfully silly. There are ghosts and stuff all over the Bible! What's the fun in having religion if you don't get crazy supernatural stuff too?

I don't think I'm haunted, per-say, but I do feel that I and other female members of my family attract the attention of the supernatural.

Unlike a horror movie, they took that as a sign to move rather than try to beat whatever this was and reclaim the house.

OK, so this one isn't about ghosts per se, but is still a little spooky.

My immediate thought was "the ghost does NOT like this guy".

So... mom's originally from Ecuador (although I think the belief exists in many places) and was always told that when someone dies, before their spirit leaves this world, they will visit all the places they've been and loved ones to say goodbye. Sweet, but also kinda creepy... as you'll see.

I found what seemed to be a great apartment on craigslist in the early aughts. It was a spacious two bedroom with an eat-in kitchen, den and living room on the top floor of a triple decker. The rent was reasonable, the roommate seemed cool and the neighborhood was convenient. I was really pleased with the place, even
