NO NO NO NO

So, when I was in middle school, my family lived in this small house in a small town in SW Washington state.

This is terrifying and I will never sleep or camp again

Link please!

Ugh, SO SCARY! So a few years ago a friend of mine organized a women’s survivalist camp at this campground in West Virginia. That was scary enough for city girls from Baltimore and DC. It was fun though, we learned about helpful wild plants, made rope from milkweed, etc. etc. We were in a rented cabin, not tents,

It was the Northern Central Railroad Trail...super bougie area of Baltimore County. You’d usually just see other yuppie distance runners on training runs. There was a different weekend where we ran in the morning, and the area around one bend pretty far out on the trail smelled like death. My boyfriend said it was

Oh my god. A few years ago, I was training for a marathon, and would always do my long runs with my boyfriend on a trail north of Baltimore. He’d ride a bike while I ran. One day we didn’t get out there till late afternoon, but thought we could make it back before dark. Nope. Had about four miles left and it got dark

Also crying

Swanepoel, not Swanepoe.

I’ve been watching the video on NowFashion and I’ve seen 2-3 actual falls and more stumbles and the video just started...

dear god my ovaries

WAIT! I DID NOT KNOW HE WAS IN THIS! HOW DID I NOT KNOW!?!!! Falling down a Netflix-hole for the next few weeks byyyyeeee!

Uh, does anyone remember Arnold Schwarzenegger’s housekeeper?

Uhhh, how about people from Africa colonized the ENTIRE EARTH...

Book Winnie is CONSTANTLY used by older men, and she’s always, “Do you love me? Really? Do you?”. Pretty sure Book Mom’s Boyfriend very creepily responds by saying, “ What guy wouldn’t love to fuck a 15 year old?”. I would never ever ever call Book Winnie empowered

I read the book, and it read like someone exorcising her demons, not thrilling at the memory of an affair. VERY disturbing book.

In the book, the main character is desperately needy, and has sex with multiple older men hoping that it means love. There is nothing empowering about her molestation by her mother’s boyfriend AT ALL.

When I was 15, the girl who sat across from me had a “boyfriend” (as she called him) who was 30. I knew then, and know now that he was a predator. I read this book, and the main character is NOT empowered, and has sex with older creepy men in the hopes that they might actually love her, but they just manipulate her

oh my godddddd
