For the doubters in the comments, the NEXCO website also has a photo of the work in progress [www.e-nexco.co.jp]

A shame this is in China though (or Hong Kong? I fail it at distinguishing Mandarin vs Cantonese if I can't compare directly...)

The XXX domain debacle is altogether pretty funny.

@zero51a The flickr tags say South Shields, near Newcastle. If the article author could be bothered to click two times he'd have seen it too.

@Elliuotatar I love you

If you translate it into English it'd be "iPhone". No, seriously, "wo" means "me".

Isn't that what MP3.com got sued for back in the day? It'll work if they don't support iTunes content though, and they wouldn't even need to upload it all, just look at the person's iTunes account.

Spotify would kill iTunes in an instant if it were released globally. It's really that much of a game-changer.

The Sony Ericsson X10 Mini was the best-selling phone in the company's history, and is a great Android phone, so if Apple can price a small iPhone in the same range, it'll be a major success.

@Dragoonslayer12: It's not coming on Sprint. Sony Ericsson only ever make GSM/UMTS phones.

@cadenlaguna: If you hit refresh on their .com website, the logo colour changes each time.

There are a lot of commenters here who need to buy noise-cancelling headphones.

@jchen1: With your burger analogy, I think this is more like if my shop designed and started selling a new mexican burger everyone loved, then the shop across the street did the same. Then I created a teriyaki burger, and they copy that idea as well.

@fiji.siv: Conclusion: as much as Americans love yammering on about their "heritage", they don't have much in common with their ancestors.

@cec: Even though it's not illegal since Microsoft don't have a monopoly any more (and arguably never had one in browsers), you have to admit it's unfair. How much market share does the Yahoo! browser have? How about the Blekko browser?

@delos: When Bing corrects the spelling of a word it tells you it corrected the word with a message before the results. It's not showing that message here, meaning it didn't use auto-correct.

@coolslice: No. If I were you I'd scan my computer for malware/a virus.

The future will be so much better if the flattr model could win, but it's too obscure and too idealistic to gain a proper foothold :(
