The choice of photos for this article was atrocious. Who decided on these angles and truncated shots? I still can’t actually tell what this car looks like.

I’m not a troll and I don’t want to be rude but I would like to give some feedback. I’m sorry but if you are reviewing a car show more of the car please and show what you are talking about with the car. I’d prefer to see less of someone’s face when talk about a car. I don’t feel any more knowledgeable about why I…
Exactly! It was the main selling point for me to even consider the Crosstrek.
My daughter has a Camry of this era. I ended up driving it and noticed a horrible shudder at 35 mph. A little digging found that Toyota had issues with the torque converter not locking up properly at light loads.
To not leave as many parking lot door-dings as humans they only have to not do it 50% of the time.
Not at all. This is a road trip vehicle and that’s great highway-merging acceleration. I have a Flex and it’s sure appreciated that there’s oomph there when you put the pedal down for 30-70mph situations.
I’ve got a ‘18 Outback with 90,000 miles. The CVT has started slipping while cold on initial start up. A drain and fill didn’t help. A second drain and fill didn’t help either.
This is an anti EV thing that AEG’s been pushing for years, even Jalopnik’s sister site has an article debunking this https://cleantechnica.com/2021/10/26/about-that-scary-evs-cost-more-to-fuel-study-not/.
Let’s go after a company that gave us really good functional hybrids.. and ignore the ones that cheated on diesel emissions for years.... Ok
It would be a big hit in Texas. People would be outraged at the ad and their sales would triple from people buy the land cruiser to own the libs.
A Land Cruiser running over a cyclist would probably play pretty well in America, just not for the reason these activists think.
If I’m paying this much it better have the one advantage the FJ had over the 4runner- the availability of a 6 speed manual.
If the undercarriage has zero rust NP. This is priced right. Toyota charged extra for the single color Teams package paint. Despite being cheaper to paint than non Teams FJ's.
I’m glad this truck has 135,000 miles on it. If it had less than 50,000, it would be doomed to shuffle from one climate controlled bunker to the next without ever seeing dirt for the rest of its existence. With those miles you can finally let it get muddy. It’s time to put some marks on those skid plates!
Where an exit ramp goes up any over the road you left or are entering.
That’s exactly what he thought would happen. He’s a huge Tesla stan and owns stock, as did several other coworkers. We work in IT and are all nerds, so he thought it would just be high-fives all around. We had rotating presentations during our weekly staff meetings, and when my turn came around, I did mine on the…
This was the first person to ever do that, everrrrrrr
My old boss proudly admitted doing the same thing, from San Diego to LA. I openly chastised him in the office for that kind of reckless, selfish, and irresponsible behavior.
This position is for shifting into a lower gear and increases the engine’s drag to help slow your vehicle down.
Nor does it eliminate the left turn, since there’s four of them in that interchange right there. The cloverleaf does better to eliminate left turns than this thing does.
