I think Michael should be a therapist. He's a great listener, his experience as a cop means he knows how to ask the right questions to get people to open up, he's thoughtful and understanding, fair and sensible. And he wouldn't have to sit behind a desk all day. At least not nearly as much as being a lawyer.

I think she was wearing a graphic sleep tee in bed with Michael later in the episode lol

Me too! I had to think for half a second, who always says that…? Then it hit me.

I am so unconvinced of Alicia and Johnny's supposed chemistry, and just terribly bored by and uninterested in Johnny, that I completely forgot they slept together — and that was just one episode ago!

Liked this just for the Edith/a few brain cells part. So true.

When Amber cries, we all cry.

I know what you mean about the Johnny Karate show being a little mean-spirited. Like sure, rule #5 is be nice to someone, but then they go and discredit rule #5 when they make fun of the little scientist boy and Ben and destroy the box Ron built.

Kyle needs to get a shoe shine.

Aww I already felt sad for her, but that just took it to another level. Poor Isobel :( She's a tough person though, so I think she'll be just fine.

I just remember the scene in the series premiere when the Deals Deals Deals employees were supposed to get paid and didn't, and then I don't feel bad about Ilana's behavior.

Me too! I was totally expecting that to happen and paused at that point to see if he was there.

Yeah, including those Dr. Pepper commercials as the football game concession guy.

Anyone else at least a little uneasy with Kristina calling every student by pet names? Every kid she interacted with in this episode was sweetie, hun, or (ick) babe. Every other word out of her mouth this episode was a pet name. I am long enough out of school that I don't remember if this happened then, and I don't

I've watched the show since the beginning. Other than the first season, which I mostly dug, this is the only season so far for which I have not hate-watched a majority of the episodes. It's been surprisingly good.

Yes, absolutely re: MRA vibes and everything else you said.

Sub in some red for that white and you've got yourself a calimocho, delightful over lots of ice.

I couldn't help but notice that music as well, and for some reason, it felt off and sort of rubbed me the wrong way. Maybe I'm being overly sensitive, but it felt like they didn't want to use the high-brow orchestral music they normally play when shit hits the fan, and instead played "urban" music for the gangster
