I stopped watching Family Guy years (decades? ago), just kinda drifted. But I liked that it was still on. I hold no ill will and have very fond memories of that time period after it was canceled and was airing on Adult Swim.

Putting it on after their highest rated show that isn’t a sporting event might not be the best nail in its coffin.

Also, weird to say The Masked Singer is “apparently still on” when this very website has multiple articles a week about The Masked Singer when it’s in season.

I’m also pretty sure that this very site regularly runs articles about who the most recently unmasked singer was, so acting as if they’re surprised it’s still on is fucking wild.

I get the sass, but I’m pretty sure Masked Singer is one of Fox’s highest rated shows so it seems like they are likely trying to use that to feed into Family Guy and hoping that will all help Animal Control.

the very underrated Great North

Oh man, this is just like that one time they switched Family Guy’s time slot.

It isn’t so much that the fines are reasonable or not; we like to believe that they will be evenly applied.
We know they won’t, even in medium-sized towns and large cities, but it is part of the basis of our separation from the king of England.
It makes us feel good to get mad about injustice, if that makes any sense.

These look even worse than those horrible floppy, tiny sourdough slices they tried a couple years ago.

I think that is truly the biggest issue with comparing the current box office to previous MCU movies as opposed to the rest of the 2023 box office. Streaming numbers for Loki certainly suggest people are tuning in.

Yeah on both counts. I do wonder how much the actor’s strike and the stars not being to promote the film affected the outcome. Although then again while I do like Brie Larson as an actress, I don’t know if she is the kind of a sparkling personality who is able to drum that kind of interest during promotional tours.

Granted, some people have no shame and will still stuff themselves.

Seriously, though, how could they not have foreseen this? EVERYONE loves shrimp. That’s why it’s always part of the kiddie menu at any seafood (and even some non-seafood) restaurants. That’s why fancy places charge extra to top your filet with some kind of shrimp cream sauce. A live shrimp will bait the smallest…

Yeah, those two pretty much discredit the entire list.  Sure, some people think the originals are untouchable, but you could find 2,500 covers worse that AAF or Disturbed.

I’m convinced that the editors of the AV Club sincerely have zero taste based on AAF’s cover of Smooth Criminal being on this list.

At least 2 or 3 songs on this list are actually good covers though.
