Not everyone wants all the apps though. The few times I’ve ever used digital passes they just go in my Apple wallet

“Also, you can take your paper pass with you through your security scan. You can’t take your phone, it has to go through X-ray separate.”
Yeah it’s really weird. It’s like if Coke decided to change its name to Fanta. Why would you drop “HBO?” It’s iconic. What the fuck is “Max?”
I think the dumb decision gets bonus points for changing from HBO Max to just Max, despite not including any Cinemax material even though HBO owns Cinemax, and the Cinemax channels are now actually just called Max.
The name Zaslav sounds like a second-rate DC/Marvel villain.
Just...don’t subscribe?
Just one clown. David "Bemused Chuckle" Zaslav.
Just don't watch it. Success for you.
I have no idea why on earth they would dump the prestigious and legendary part of their name. Is this company being run by clowns?
Also worth noting that WB has quietly been expiring almost all the digital codes that come with most blu-ray releases. A real class act this Zaslav is.
The wild west days of C Band Satellite tv were an absolute boon for us who lived in the boonies! All of a sudden, living in a valley in the middle of nowhere went from MAYBE getting 3 channels of local tv if you were lucky, to getting all the tv everywhere from every corner of the globe (minus the local stations, but…
Yeah, I don’t get it. HBO Max had a rough launch, but it’s been the streamer that we’ve watched the most consistently in our house over the past few years. Seriously: Succession, Barry, Hacks, The Righteous Gemstones, The Last of Us, Starstruck, The Flight Attendant, Mare of Easttown, Starstruck, The Tourist, Perry…
this is kind of a bootlicker take. HBO Max didn’t have an easy start but eventually offered more quality content than nearly any other streaming platform. And that would have been without the HBO Max originals like the Flight Attendant which were better than they should have been...with Showtime’s mostly boring…
Regarding the infotainment system, are the controls not operated by flappy panels in addition to the touch screen?
Having just looked at both, the Soul actually has a nicer interior for less money than the base Trax does, especially in the tw0-tone black and gray. It’s still “cheap” compared to what I am used to, but it’s nice enough, has a 8.something inch screen that I have to admit is touchscreen done right. Nice big physical…
Blame Chevy for not having fast and fun hybrids and electrics to meet their old SS type market.
I think the non-aerodynmic shape really kills this vehicle’s mpg. It’s the same for the Corolla (41mpg hwy) vs. Corolla Cross (33mpg hwy).
But then no one would buy it. You have to give it a chance to actually exist and pay for itself.
It’s just crazy to me that $21k makes this not just the cheapest car from Chevy, but one of the cheapest new cars in America. You’ve got the Cheap King Mirage at $17k, the Venue and Soul at almost $20k, and that’s about it.
Maybe this will make up for the loss of the Spark- which was also a surprisingly better than you would think car for being so cheap. A lot of GM’s Korean output has gotten a LOT better over the years. Seeing as how we used to get such awful, pitiful excuses such as the Aveo to this is a big improvement. The industry…
