Jeez, glad you’re OK. Thanks for the rundown, and especially the bit explaining what you were wearing. That was what I was reading forward to, after finding out you’re not too seriously injured. I know that shaky, stunned feeling after you first get back up and try to take stock. Keep on rollin’....

Amazing. I saw the headline and came here to sarcastically comment that it should have been a slideshow with one slide for every possible speed number. Imagine my surprise to discover....

I haven’t yet watched the film, but I’m intrigued by the likelihood that it’s celebrating races done entirely with stolen vehicles. I imagine celebrating a bicycle race which is also composed of riders on necessarily stolen bikes, which are also commonly stolen vehicles. But wait; the characters, their stories and

Interestingly, there seems to be much less controversy regarding the Indian motorcycle name. I’ve followed discussions on this for a few years, though casually.

Jeez, this works out well. Though it happens I was already thinking it’s too bad Renegade is taken.

And Wrangler could be renamed Mini Macho? (I mean after the principal leader of the Cowboy Nation insists)

I just wish they head a header for ‘Slideshow’ so I could find and enjoy them more quickly instead of clicking hopefully on every article....

I had a FC RX-7 a few years back. Loved to wind out that rotary engine and the handling was Oh My God, but this engine would make it a different kind of fun. Quite a weight difference, but hey, people also do LS swaps into these. Heresy, I know, but I’d love to try it.

Of course apocryphal stories can be untrue but still make a point. That pencil story is amusingly different (cf Snopes): When the astronauts began to fly, like the Russians, they used pencils, but the leads sometimes broke and became a hazard by floating in the [capsule’s] atmosphere where there was no gravity. They

That’s what I said (with pics), but comment wouldn’t post.

What about this 2008 Dodge Magnum SRT8 for $24,977? I’m told it comes with Glossy Brilliant Black Crystal Exterior with Medium Slate Gray Leather/Suede Interior 6.1L SRT HEMI V8 Engine Automatic Transmission Gloss Red Brembo Calipers 20' OEM SRT-8 Wheels Heated Front Seats GPS Navigation System Sunroof Power Seats

Looking forward to this series. I’ve driven these and had thought about importing one for playing with over here in Oregon.

Respectfully, thank you for not making this a slideshow. I enjoy your writing, but hesitated when I saw the headline because I feared I’d find it necessary to click through a bunch of pictures of the trailer. Not that I would have. Your restraint is appreciated.

Obvious use is obvious.

But in this story, wouldn’t the tires be nails? Is a carpenter who goes through a lot of nails a good carpenter? I’m a carpenter sometimes, and don’t really ‘go through’ any of my hammers. Or are the rims the hammers and the tires the nails? I’m stuck in this metaphor.

Hell, yes. I prefer the FCs (had an ‘87 ‘til it was T-boned by a teen in a pickup), but these are also a blast to drive and not hard to work on if you can work on cars. Not real quick, but fun to throw around.

Hard to believe this made it out the factory door. Kinda cool though. (harlequin golf /s)

‘Turn up’ the volume, because we had to turn a knob? No, wait...we still say that.

‘Roll up’ the windows, because we had to...? No, wait...we still say that.

Look! Suicide doors! Manual! Runs and drives fine!
