Seven years is the generally accepted lifespan of a CO detector. Many of them have expiration dates on them. Some have lithium batteries that last about 7 years and cannot be changed, making them disposable at end-of-life. Regular smoke detectors should also be replaced every 7 years.

Maybe it’s yet another difference in east coast/west coast manners, but if someone showed up to my house with TP I’d be a bit offended they didn’t think I would prepare properly.
This is why it’s such a shame they took all the old Good Eats episodes down from YouTube. You’ll become a much more functional cook if you can learn *concepts* (which eggs helpfully teach) as opposed to recipes. Doing the latter is like trying to learn how to play an instrument by learning one song at a time.
I’ve only experienced it post-patch, and I don’t have a screen protector on it yet... it’s slower than the back-facing predecessors by at least a quarter second (which is fine if you haven’t used them before, it’s a nuisance if you’re used to the old speed). The only people who actually care about this are folks who want attention or are unable to process that their disability doesn’t define them, parent’s of kids with actual disabilities, or people who just want to be high and mighty.
