Despite all the rumors, I was glad I didn’t “know” definitively that the other SM actors were showing up and so it was as surprising and delightful as possible, given the realities of how things work now.  So, yeah.  Thanks, Andrew, for fighting the good fight.

Forget the archery, I want to see “ROGERS: THE MUSICAL”!

This movie is going to be a hot mess, and I’m most likely going to pay to see it.

I have no idea how that trailer is supposed to sell the show to non-book readers. Everything looks so damn generic. Witcher manages to keep the thirst taps flowing, GoT has tits and dragons, and the Silmarillion show has a ton of built-in name recognition.

Shore Leave 1000% better representation than anything on this show.

Speaking about queer characters and Venture Brothers, Shoreleave was easily one of my favorite characters.

I do gotta say it’s nice to see the MCU acknowledge Betty Ross exists. Even if it’s in a “What If...?”. Though, I much prefer how she looks in the comics nowadays...

“We were instructed not to interfere in any human conflicts unless Deviants were involved”

You win this round David Schwimmer!

Most people use “Comic book movies” when they mean super hero movies. There are a shockingly large number of movies based on comic books that people never realize. Most recently “Old.” I mean shit, Road to Perdition is a comic book movie.

Just here to say that a Karaoke version of Yello’s Oh Yeah is a phenomenally horrible idea and Parnell SELLS it. (“It” being what a bad idea it is.)

Is anyone else uncomfortable with Loki and Sylvie kissing? Like they’re basically variants of themselves so this is basically multiversal incest.

You HAVE to watch Rebels; for me, it is the best animated SW show because it satiated my personal curiosity on how the Rebel Alliance really came together, but it is also tonally the closest to the Original Trilogy, and how a found family can match the bonds of a real family. The Clone Wars was always fun and stunningl

Kotaku is literally the only reason I’m aware of any of this.

Are we being fun-hating downers who are overthinking something...?

Yeah that definitely threw me and made me think something got cut somewhere. It was obvious they were giving out Kryptonian powers (though it originally seemed like only one power per person) but at no point did it seem like they were getting a Kryptonian ‘upload’.

Magneto is a villain, and the Holocaust has its own anti-semite armor. It’s nit the same thing as casting a hero as a mainstream modern Jew.

I can’t imagine what kind of hot garbage this must have been to not clear the “good enough for CW” hurdle.

It amaze me that every time a geopolitical issue is brought to the masses, people can so easily reduce the very complex situation into “bad guys are attacking good guys”.

Your timely reminder that mark Millar licks goats.
