maybe the issue is that getting your political news from gaming sites like IGN or this one means that you get an incomplete and possibly misleading picture.
I don’t know.
Who knows, maybe in the Fett spinoff show they will introduce his secret wife and daughter (and later ultra nationalistic granddaughter)
More like, it wouldn’t be a Dave Filoni show without a kid sidekick (with possible special significance) and an unwilling father figure.
also, if we are doing Star Wars references:
Crosshair -
you know that no one is forcing you to watch ALL of them, right?!
it’s not like the MCU where if you miss an episode you might not know how Sam Bee got to be the new Captain America because Jimmy Fallon wiped out half of the other hosts using the infinity stones.
I really have no patience for another Mark "Edgy-because-it's-cool" Millar project.
“Get your money, black man" indeed.
So does every one of Filoni’s shows has to be centered around a kid with a mysterious past\powers?!
The only one that I would actually call BAD was the Psylocke focused ‘Fallen Angels’ mini series.
For such a simple plot it was so poorly paced and all over the place in terms of tone.
Also, the art wasn’t just bad, it was also incomprehensible at times.
The whole Arcana thing was so stupid and didn’t make any sense.
I would be surprised if Shuri doesn’t become the new Black Panther by the end of the movie, but it’s going to get really awkward with how they are going to acknowledge that T’chala is gone without having him in the movie.
Wouldn’t you find it more progressive if more black characters were adapted to multiple media, or better yet, new original characters were created in the comics and built up. (just look at the variety of diverse ‘Young Avengers’ that are going to be joining the MCU soon)
Yeah, in this scenario it really doesn’t matter,…
Not saying the change or voice acting was bad (BTW, no reason a black actor can’t voice a white character if he\she can perform the role well), just that ultimately it felt kinda meaningless to the character or the plot.
Besides a few pacing issues (the original comic moved at a slower pace and allowed characters to breath before the big showdown with Omni-Man) this was a great adaptation.
The various race-swapping of characters seems kind of pointless though (didn’t really change or fundamentally effect them either way), and probably…
So this time it’s grey haired Natsu?!
look, artists usually stick to similar styles but they also don’t do the EXACT same characters over and over only with the colors changed.
Nitara and Reiko were obviously there so the good guys wouldn’t perform fatalities on some rando no-names. (they are deep-cut characters that no one will really miss if they are killed off quickly without any development)
what surprised me was that Milena, while still having a few lines and several cool fights in the…
I feel like this could have worked better if it was either:
It was fun B-Movie fantasy martial arts movie with some campy but entertaining performances.
