The action looks great but the performances are kinda underwhelming.

We all know the real appeal of this expansion (Woof)

Why do all the Apokoliptian New Gods look like Bayformers. (Though Michael Bay movies are usually better lit)
also, nobody tell Darkseid, but his Omega shirt is upside down)

I wonder if Pietro being all supportive of the whole Westview situation is a nod to the House of M story where it was him who convinced Wanda to create the "Mutant utopia" reality they all lived in.

Even though it would have completely derailed the show I would have loved to see their take on ‘Married... with Children’ (though that show started in 87')

Pietro also offhand calls the the twins “demon spawn” (or something like that), which can either just be an easter egg to their origins in the comics or ominous foreshadowing for the show.

As everyone knows, the worst kind of penis is an uncut one.

She didn’t have any kind of deep characterization beyond being from Alderaan and being a former rebel alliance trooper.

It’s kind of telling when characters in various spinoffs keep making fun of and belittling the event

From Monica’s own recounting she IS actually hurting everyone stuck inside the “Hex”

This is a really bad development.

I bet that the whole Westview experience somehow gave Monica powers.

Oh, it’s a very real possibility Hayward is just “evil” and is a part of Hydra or something. (the MCU is not really known for their subtle villain reveals)

I think you are being a little harsh on Hayward.
While he is jumping to conclusions and is very ‘gung ho’ about shooting first asking questions later, from his perspective Wanda is posing a very serious threat (though maybe not immediate) and she is basically holding thousands of people hostage, and from Monica’s own

why are you calling it a “cameo”?
I doubt they will keep it to one or two scenes and will more likely involve him with the larger plot.
Either Wanda pulled him from another reality or, in a more disturbing possibility, reality bent someone from the MCU reality into being her brother. (for example, the guy from the

Hey, cancer is pretty definitive in the Marvel Universe.
just ask poor OG Captain Mar-Vell.

It’s not like he had a lot of other good options or time to consider them.

This episode felt a little by the numbers and kinda boring for me.
Its main purpose, except for introducing Monica proper (which were the scenes that were actually engaging for me), was just to fill in the holes of what was going on outside of the Westview sitcom bubble, and most of it was pretty much predictable and
