The way I understand it is that the “Squid Hoax” is known, but is considered by the general public to be a conspiracy theory that is only believed by fringe groups like the Seventh Kavalry. (It's not like Rorschach or the right wind paper he sent his diary to seem like very reliable sources)

I’m not sure if replacing Van Damme with Vin Diesel is an upgrade or a downgrade.

I don’t really know anything about the character besides for how he looks and what the trailer showed, but he kinda feels like a Wolverine clone (not an actual clone, there are plenty of those around anyway).

I don’t know what the significance of this is going to be, but in one of the newspapers you can briefly see the headline says “Veidt Officially Declared Dead”

I totally caught that missing “Not a Janet” line and just thought it was the writers finally making a mistake.
