That is a very short term strategy with a huge potential to backfire.

To be fair, this time, instead of the fridged girl being used to motivate the hero, now she is used to drive the unstable villain even more insane.
If I had to sum up this episode in one word is: disappointing.
The story was fine, but in order to appeal to the general public they made her more like the movie instead of how she is normally in the comics.
You forgot about Sabrina and Salem’s long awaited reunion.
Karen’s hoodie outfit looked like she was dressed for a community theater production of Rent.
I haven’t watched the final episode yet, but I SO want to see an unhinged Dex let loose.
On the next...
MMO or no MMO, It’s a Bathesda game, expect many bugs and glitches.
Kinda what I was expecting from the trailers.
This show is really dumb. (like 60's Adam West Batman dumb)
Detective Mahoney has been the Marvel Netflix universe’s proverbial punching bag (constantly outmaneuvered by the heroes and villains alike) so it’s nice for him to finally get a win.
I think Father Lantom’s death is supposed to replace Karen’s because I don’t see the exact same kill happening a second time in the show. (though Bullseye does have a tendency of killing Matt’s girlfriends)
I wish this episode was focused more on the Maggie stuff than progressing the plot.
More like an expansion.
Yeah, the sister Maggie reveal could have been handled better. (I mean, she does know about his abilities and that he very likely could overhear her, right?!)
besides having an obsessive personality, that flashback also showed that he felt that if he would get really good at throwing that baseball it would somehow bring back his parents so subconsciously he probably got really good at throwing things as a desperate attempt for people to stop leaving him.
Funny you should mention Jameson, because he pretty much had the same dynamic with Ben Urich when he found out he knew who Daredevil is. (in the Daredevil comics he usually comes off as less of a complete buffoon)
I liked that since Dex finally stopped trying to disguise himself as a stable individual his more playful\psychotic side came out, more similar to how he is in the comics
Also, one’s mother abandoned him when he was a kid and the other one’s was apparently pretty shitty to him and died also when he was little.
