You don’t really make your own story in Bethesda games. You generally are following the story of main and side quests. Wandering around aimlessly is also not creating your own story. Not sure what you mean but it sounds like an excuse for a terrible story. Some fun side quests for sure story wise tho.

Yeah I also enjoy buying vinyl (especially limited ones) because they maintain their value or increase. If you buy an album on itunes you have no asset. With vinyl you purchase the same music but are also investing money into assets that may grow in time or be able to resell if you ever need.
