Update:

I am in love with that woman.

Ming-Na Wen, her original voice actor. (I’m very much aware she is 52 years old, 0 fucks given).

I puked at my junior prom.

I looked up Paula's Choice 2% BHA Gel on Amazon and they have most of the Paula's Choice line on Prime. I picked up the gel and the Resist Super Light Daily Defense with SPF 30.

Thank you for this. I was going to comment similarly on diet and acne. I tried a diet like the one in the article and all it did was stress me out further because I didn't know what to make and was constantly at the grocery store trying to figure out what the fuck to make for breakfast.

I have such unruly, poofy, frizzy hair that cutting it short would be vastly more maintenance than the ridiculously long length I’ve got it at now. But I keep thinking that if I had short hair, I’d look more mature. Then I immediately convince myself not to chop off my hair again. Worst. Haircut. Evar.

No, it definitely isn’t. I had a co-worker who was about 3 weeks older than myself who also looked super young but it definitely didn’t hinder his ability to get promoted here.

Good luck! Hope it goes well for you. :)

Yup, I’ve been passed over for jobs after the interview for being too inexperienced when I have more than the required experience that was in the job posting. Not sure what to do about it. I’ve tried makeup, no makeup, a little or a lot of makeup, natural hair (wavy curls), straightened hair, perfectly curled hair,

I responded on that thread with this:

UGH with the looking super young thing! I posted on the other thread about a bunch of other shit, but this. THIS is the most fucking. annoying. part. about my professional life.

Only in Canada.

At least Mr. McFarland seems to have his wits about him. But, I doubt there is absolutely no dress code for the school’s prom. They won’t let someone roll up in there with jeans, methinks.

Only in comparison to my associates. That was my point. And the only thing that difference that netted him was a slightly higher starting salary.

I’ve noticed that my line of work consists of the same symptoms/problems in any company: The team is always small, with several highly motivated and intelligent individuals and then a couple bad apples that don’t know how to do anything. The company relies on this team for information all the time, but they rarely

“Your face is unbecoming.”

I did this once in high school and get sent to fucking detention for it.

Take out those I thinks and In my opinions! No more qualifiers!

I was once told by a wonderful woman to remove any “I think” and “I feel” statements when stating anything that I firmly believe in and is based on facts, even if those statements are still opinions. No reason to qualify an opinion with “I think” or “I feel” when you’ve come to an educated opinion based on solid facts.
