Actually the only times I've seen the "feminists think all men are insane" meme lately has been from posts like yours, often during floods of responses to any and all mention of #yesallwomen .

That is a load of crap. We directly oppose this idea, in no small part because too often law enforcement and courts reject accusations of rape if the accuser isn't reacting "the right way."

The systemic abuse you describe tends to be committed by people who have power against people with less power. Most cultures have been and still are socially male dominated, so the pattern reflects the dynamics of that power structure.

My problem with the Jaime/Cersei rape scene didn't arise until after a couple episodes aired after that scene. At first I totally bought the notion that "oh the directors and writers want to remind us that Jaime isn't just some character being redeemed and good, he's still a pretty messed up douchebag."
