I'm sorry, to me personally this is one of the UGLIEST cars I've ever seen. It just looks bloated and cartoonish to me.

It's a liability issue, not a trespassing/driving issue.

He's not shifting too low at all. You don't need to hit redline before shifting. The vast majority of people in the UK have only ever driven stick so you're not going to find a mechanic who "can't drive stick properly" there. He's actually not abusing that engine at all despite the speed.

As an American driving over there, I've driven/passed this way because I saw so many others do it that I assumed it was 'accepted practice' and not illegal. People yield the center to faster cars with regularity. Nothing 'scary' about it IMO.

It's still a pass... the "right-side pass" is just added here for sensationalism... I often pass cars going 60 or 70mph over the passed car when in Germany... and it's still just a pass...
