Super late to the discussion here, sorry. My ex-girlfriend, who is pansexual and fond of puns, loves the Xanth books, even now. She grew up in Florida as well, and kept trying to get me to read them, but I always resisted, having had a faint memory of a bad experience with one of Anthony's books when I was a teenager.

I said on another site that it all seems a bit….unplanned, or at least poorly scripted. As if they thought, at least, while this might be the last season, that they had more episodes to do it in, and suddenly…didn't. It very much felt cut short, as if they had to scramble to tie things up in 3 episodes instead of,

It's good to have that feeling, I have it too in anti-racism discussions, to know that yours isn't the important voice and you can't truly know what they're experiencing, but speaking up as an ally is a good thing as long as you keep that respect for all others who are going through something you never will and

*nods* I grew up in a fundamentalist non-denominational preacher's family, and I got bombarded constantly with the same messages, felt the same things. Hugs for you, if you want them.

There's a lot of guys in this thread, so I'll chime in for us trans/non-binary folks - thank you for speaking up and for caring. It's always good to know we have allies.

Scott looks so much like my brother that it's really eerie and weird to watch him sometimes. The face, the hair, the expressions, the gestures, it's really uncanny. I have not, however, told him that he looks like Teen Wolf. XD
