Yeah, the source article is way more in-depth, including discussion of the likelihood that the e-ink Kindles will be still marketed as cheaper alternatives, and that an e-ink-hybrid screen tablet is in the works but not yet ready.

Yeah, I do realize. I meant to say "a Monster Hunter PS Vita exclusive" or a new MH game on the Vita would guarantee my instant, on the spot purchase of a Vita.

Yeah, it's the pirate crew vs pirate crew solo match-ups that are most appealing in the manga to me as well. It's fun seeing Luffy and crew occasionally stomping trash, but the one-on-ones are definitely a big focus of the manga.

Yeah, definitely does help to be more social, which MH can be in Japan.

Yeah, I loved having a second stick on the Wii Classic Controller Pro. A Monster Hunter on the PS Vita is all Sony or Capcom have to do to guarantee that I'll buy that system.

You know how some (a lot) of people can just sit and play repetitive games like Tetris or Minesweeper for hours to relax or pass time?

Skill-based progression, lots of different gear/armor to grind for that can drastically change gameplay styles/strategies, very responsive controls, very satisfying gameplay.

You're describing GW1 much more than GW2.

Not "rots to the core", but "rot from the core".

You can download games through a PS3 anyway, so wi-fi matters a little less. Unless somehow they're limiting the memory size to make it harder to fit a lot of games, which I doubt.

You know, I was looking at the pic before reading....I assumed the lack of a rib cage was the more glaring omission with that rendition.

Less shooting, more melee is what they claim, so not as run and gun as either of those, I presume.

A bus driver in France said the same thing to our tour group.

Eh, but you're constantly upgrading gear and acquiring new bits of monster to create different sets, right from the outset. That's basically the Monster Hunter equivalent of leveling.

Eh, he's relatively older, so the stigma of watching children's cartoons (normally I'd make an argument about animation not being kid-limited, but to be fair, the series is marketed mainly to kids) could be enough reason to have some sort of guilt, sensible or not.

I'm incredibly sad that after 4 or 5 rewatches of the series, I did not notice that.

Wait, I thought the fire-bending girl was Korra with a cap...I can't tell after rewatching either.

Oo, thought I saw some metal bending going on there.

You know, I think the Clone Wars CG makes me actually like Anakin. He comes off as rather ridiculous and obnoxious in the movies, but it's not as annoying when they give him more time to be heroic and funny in the CG cartoon.
