I think what you've heard first can have a big effect, but I'm going to agree with Gwynna: original is usually best.

To be fair, the characters in 4 and 5 (well, Leon and Chris at least) have been hunted by (and killed) hundreds of zombies in previous games, and now actively go after zombies. So they'd be more likely to take tactics into consideration and slow down to aim.

I always thought Demon's Souls was like Monster Hunter with a different (lonelier/more stressful/less humorous) atmosphere, different graphics, and a bit of magic thrown in.

Because Japan makes owning guns difficult, and that's where it's being made/sold.

I'm pretty sure Marlin .22LR rifles start in the $100-130 range, brand-new, and they're supposed to be pretty fun and decent quality plinkers.

Seriously. I wish they'd also give us more of their games *coughInazumaElevencough* in general. It seems like Level 5's Western releases are WAY more on the backburner than other big-name Japanese developers.

Yeah, and they even came up with a boatload of stances/lightsaber fighting styles that are pretty reminiscent of my tiny bits of knowledge of iaido stances. It definitely counts.

I'd wager it was the same guy who thought that a movie about a Chinese man teaching a kid traditional kung-fu in China would still fit under the name "Karate Kid".

It's a cutesy trajectory puzzle game with easy controls and little complication.

Twilight does have one female werewolf, both in the books and the 3rd movie.

Really, it's more of a love line, since Alt Lincoln and Olivia don't know aything about each other.

You do realize they have quantified relative strengths of various ammunition using basic calculations of momentum and muzzle energy, and have various scales that represent a bullet's penetrative abilities in ballistic media, right?

Going by their guidelines of not "being offensive to large groups of people", I think their after-the-fact method could be considered reasonable.

Personally, I drink at least 4 to 6 liters of water a day, and use maybe 1 (2 at most) gallon of gas a day, so I almost certainly drink more than I consume with driving.

Eh? She says that Star Wars jokes were still funny in the nineties, and Star Wars was definitely popular then.

I hope he sticks to it, but it won't be the first time I've seen a projected single book become 2 books; heck, Sanderson took it a step further by splitting one book into 3 for Wheel of Time.

We've been on both sides of this ourselves, in our Revolutionary War, we were rebels, in the Civil War, the winning side was the "Empire".

Seems like a Jalopnik meme, based on a googling of the term.

Terrorists attack to try and demoralize an enemy by any means necessary, including civilian targets, so they're usually an enemy of the entire country (civilians+government). Rebels tend to target only the government they're trying to take down and usually have local support.

I concur.
