@RAMeyer19: I was personally confused by the misspelling of Metroid as "Metriod".

@Pumhart_von_Steyr: Alternatively, bail on the live-action plan entirely and make an animated movie with the original crew/cast...

@V: Yeah, Shyamalan made a bad choice; it's not Ringer's fault he was miscast. Still, he was a bad enough Aang, choice or no choice, that I think he deserves a nomination.

Noah Ringer (Aang of Last Airbender infamy) was robbed, I tell you, robbed!

@V: I concur: Twilight's actors are at least faithful to the source material; it's supposed to be highly melodramatic teen crap. For Airbender...Noah Ringer (Aang) is just plain wooden, even taking into account crap direction and scripting.

@Manly McBeeferton: There's one on the SNES, one N64, 2 on the Gamecube (Adventures & Assault), and one on the DS (Command).

@Kazerai: Dual sticks are intuitive and pretty flipping common. And as you said yourself, I could see devs just relying on it where stylus controls aren't really necessary; that doesn't sound like so bad a thing.

@pirateveronica: Your first examples and definitions are more what we'd call fables, aren't they? E.g. Grimm's Fairy Tales, Aesop's Fables, etc? They're stories with a specific moral lesson, often with an oral tradition.

Gah!

@NumberFourtyThree: It just seems like it'd be odd to have two RPG series based on Mario running at the same time on one system. They're not as obvious spinoffs as other series that do this, like Final Fantasy versus FF Tactics; they're both turn-based RPGs with active timing embedded in them.

@Kazerai: All I know is stylus use with the off-hand is really, really awkward (I'm a righty, but what's wrong with some empathy?).

"I had no choice but to use the stylus in my right hand, since I had to use my left thumb on the 3DS' analog-stick-style circle pad."

@Banjo_Lips: That's what I was wondering, too. It's not that easy to hide an above-ground mansion...

Hmm...I guess I can wait a bit, then.

@BubbleF**kingBuddy: Yeah...I'll probably just look at the top once I've learned the controls, though, so hopefully peripheral vision+ memorized layouts will be sufficient.

@Tristam Green: Eh, I say let the people who're worried worry. No need to have or place faith in mere mortals.

@Zelda did it!: Actually, that's a pretty good example...and with very few major differences between every version, even.

@mrantimatter: I count... 4 (N64, GC, Wii, 3DS), if you think the GC limited release counts. I think Square Enix has already done a lot worse with FF4.

@G99: You know, you're right. It's not even an especially good cosplay shot. The weird lighting coming from different directions for each of the characters makes it look like a really poor Photoshop, too.
