@TVs_Frank: So what you're saying is that I need a three monitor wrap-around rig, eh?

There was a recent Thai movie (Raging Phoenix, I think) that had a scene with bunch of thugs wearing these things (or very similar springy leg extensions), but tricked out with blades.

@Mike Zuniga is a Photographer Apparently: If they're going to go with glossy again on any of their products, I hope they adopt the low-reflectivity glossy (aka anti-reflection) type finishes they used in the latest MacBook Air.

@bustedchain: Even if it's pretty horrendously inefficient, it could still be useful if it allows for more compact energy storage, e.g. for spacecraft that need to be able to gain orbital trajectories.

@SkipErnst: Even if it does have a negative efficiency, you can use it as a highly concentrated fuel. Less fuel weight to carry means less fuel used to get into orbit, or at least more room for other supplies.

@meteora3255: Yeah, I think maybe a smiley would have better conveyed the joking part with that particular joke.

@Bricked: I'm pretty sure it's 800 or so MB full install, unless you downloaded extras (eg, the vocaloid voice pack would push it closer to 1.1 GB).

@meteora3255: Er...did I sound angry? I thought it was just a misunderstanding I could help clear up.

@wirebrain: Wait, they have other games on sale too? I'm going to need a bigger memory stick...

@nfields191: Yeah, the "armored thigh stockings" look always makes me think Monster Hunter. There's almost always no upper thigh protection for female MHs, and occasionally, the shoulders are exposed too.

@tarabarnett: Why would the shape of the vowels matter? It was a verbal+visual test, and worked on people with different written languages or no written language (the toddlers they mentioned).

@Celtic1888: Yeah, it was more a "how do we stop feeling so terrified of terrorists" thought than a "this is definitely practical and we should implement it" sort of idea.

Texas sharpshooter fallacy, anyone?

@Curves: I was actually kinda wondering the same thing...I'm not sure it'd work.

@Celtic1888: Everyone else on the flight shoots him?

@meteora3255: I assume Vextoz meant it looks too close to modern-day tech, rather than futuristic tech.

@astrogea: Or Over The Hedge, with a pretty similar gag.

@Dynastius: Well, the article didn't necessarily say each of the 100 pulses are necessarily the same length as each of the 50 pulses. The pulse length could be halved, providing similar time estimation but increased granularity and clarity in recall.

@Norton: Ooops, didn't see your comment. I see we had similar ideas :]

@magnets: Compared to "Renesme" in Twilight (combining Renee and Esme), I think Albus Severus is just fine.
